I'm scared :o

It is something that you have to believe. your fears are something that your faith is going to have to protect you from. Jesus Christ said that if you had the faith of a small seed you could remove mountains. those mountains that he talked about i believe can be and are undoubtedly spiritual mountains you can not see them with your eyes but if you fear them they have substance. INVEST. Invest more faith into your protection that into your fears. get dedicated to believing that your safety lies in the arms of your saviour and your faith will set you free.

Great post! I really found the part i quoted relevant to me today. I struggle with anxiety and fear myself. I let fear rule my life in place of God, now i know better but still have a ways to go. I have a lot of work ahead to heal, but with God's help of course. i keep forgetting that i have God's help, I tried to do it alone but failed. Thanks for your post it really helped me today. :)

The writer to Hebrews would encourage you to diligently come to realise 'the full assurance of hope'

'Insurance' is something that may or may not happen. 'Assurance' is something that 'will' happen.
Insurance 'might' pay out, but Assurance 'will' pay out.

Heb 6:11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end,
Heb 6:12 so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

The writer to Hebrews goes on to show why we can have full assurance of our hope.

Firstly, that the promise was made by God, who swore the oath to Himself.
It was not made between God and man, for we all know that man will fail to keep the oath.

The promise cannot fail, because God cannot fail.

Secondly, God cannot lie.

Heb 6:13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
Heb 6:14 saying, "I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU."
Heb 6:15 And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.
Heb 6:16 For men swear by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute.
Heb 6:17 In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath,
Heb 6:18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.

It is Christ in you, that is the hope of glory.

Heb 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,
Heb 6:20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Christ is the Rock of our salvation, and if our anchor is on the Rock, our soul will realise the full assurance and we will be steadfast. If the anchor is in ourselves, it is like having the anchor in the boat, and we will be tossed about on the waves.

God cannot lie, and God cannot fail

There's lots of good advice in this thread. You probably are being attacked. When you're on the right track to God, you can expect it. We know this is a spiritual war. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Remember that you have The Lord with you at all times and this is no joke or idiom, it's real. He's real and really with you. Embrace Him and believe it. The spoken name of Jesus Christ has supreme power, use it. Get thee behind me Satan, for it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him only shalt thou serve. That's what Jesus himself quoted to the devil when he was being tempted in the wilderness. Knowledge is power. Pick up the scriptures and learn. Read them daily. Pray for wisdom and understanding above all. Pray for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This is a real war and you must be proactive to live. WHy do you think the Military pushes the recruits so hard during training? Because it saves lives is why. It is the same principle in this spiritual war. Just because you can not see the enemy does not mean they are not real. So pick up your Bible and give me 20, (lol but no joke). Understand that you have a radio directly to the throne room of God, use it. Get down on your knees and pray for help and strength. Pray unceasingly! Ask the Lord to guide your every step, to not let you stumble. Let no one snatch me from your hand Lord Jesus. Remember that the Lord has Promised to not put on you more than you can bear. Obey Him. Ask that you not be deceived. Take his hand and let Him guide you, as a little child does to their parent. You can not do this alone, you will die. Have faith in His promises and call Him on them. He will not let you down. You must lean upon Him.When I moved into this house, I exercised it in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and walked the perimeter commanding the evil spirits to leave and placing Angels to guard the property. I felt a lot better. Put on the armor of God, have faith, search the scriptures daily, and follow orders. This is real. Our Lord has never let me down and he will never let you down.

GREAT ADVICE IN THIS POST!!!

I think that mostly I'm scared because I feel like I'm alone. I need Christian friends and I wish I had a girlfriend that was a Christian. I have an anxiety disorder that might be a problem too. I believe in Jesus Christ.

consider studying Prov16 Prov16:3 commit thy works to the lord and thy THOUGHTS shall be established , Prov16:4 the lord has made everything for his purpose yea even the wicked for the day of evil , Prov16:7 when a mans ways are pleasing to the lord he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him , Prov16:20 he that handleth a matter wisely shall find good, and happy is he whosoever trusts in the lord

this is an awsome construction of scripture for this thread

AIR, God bless you. If it's any consolation, I've been experiencing similar things the past fews days. I am convinced it is the enemy, of course, but also that my defenses have been let down with this current time change that has thrown many Circadian Rhythms off. Pray, talk to God, breathe deeply, and know that you are not alone.

Re: The Spiritual Realm and the Physical Realm

People may doubt the existence of angels, but the Word is clear about the truth. There are heavenly beings assigned to Believers and they are waiting for us to give them assignments daily. Hebrews 1:14 says angels are "ministering" spirits sent to minister to the heirs of salvation. Who are the heirs of salvation? You and me! Angels are part of God's covenant promise of divine protection for those who believe in Him; however, it takes faith to activate angelic power in your life.

Psalm 103:20 says, "Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure." One of the keys to releasing angels in your life is to speak the Word of God. These powerful beings don't just move because you want them to. The Word says they hearken unto the voice of God's Word. That means until you speak the Word of God, they will not go to work on your behalf.

The Bible says in Psalm 91:11, 12, "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone." Isn't it comforting to know God has made provision for your divine protection? It is part of your covenant right as a Christian. All you have to do is receive it by faith and begin commanding your angels on a daily basis.

In Daniel 3, God sent angels to rescue three young men from a fiery furnace—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—because they trusted God and refused to bow down to another god. As a result of their faith in God and His protection, the eyes of their persecutors were opened, and Daniel 3:28 says the king of the land had no choice but to acknowledge the God of Israel. Now that's power!

God sends angels to protect His servants. Here are some keys for you to activate angelic protection in your life:
1. Trust

Trust is a force of commitment. When you trust God no matter what is going on around you, you demonstrate your commitment to Him, even in the midst of challenging times. Trust will enable you to release your angels with confidence (Psalm 34:7).

2. Believe

God is committed to those who believe His Word (Luke 1:45, Matthew 18:10). You have to believe God will protect you and angels will carry out this aspect of your salvation at your command.

3. Serve God

Your service to God and His Kingdom provokes angelic protection (Psalm 91:11, AMP).

4. Pray

Jesus said God would have sent twelve legions of angels to His rescue had He prayed for them. Prayer will release angels on your behalf (Matthew 26:51—53).

5. The name of Jesus

Calling on the name of Jesus will secure the attention of all the angels of God. They will come to your rescue (Hebrews 1:6).

6. Command your angels

You have to command your angels and assign them before they can work for you. You command the assistance of angels when you speak the Word of God (Psalm 103:20).

Isn't it good to know you don't have to depend solely on your own ability to protect yourself? Get your angels involved in your protection and walk free from fear every day!

That last post came from another thread it was posted by (iLOVE) although it is a personal perspective, that perspective has been backed up by scripture and there for requires one to at least consider the reasoning behind their views. I do not disagree with this post at all but there are more specific explanations to a few points that one might like to search out. I do however think that this post fits this thread like a glove. I hope it can be of benefit anyone who reads it.

Re: The Spiritual Realm and the Physical Realm

some of the things that god has in store for us are not possible for us to imagine but the existence and conduct of righteous spiritual beings are revealed to us by the Holy spirit which searches out the deep things of God Php 2:13

One of the coolest scriptures I allways think about is 2Kin6:17 this scripture depicts the substance and position of the beings in the spiritual realm it shows that our Weapons are indeed reinforced by a real spiritual campaign to protect the things which belong to our father, the soldiers in there firey chariots are easy for my mind to create a mental image of, the idea that I cannot distinguish with my vision is the substance of Elishas faith. I am however able to construct the idea or imagine the his awesome spiritual armor around him Eph 6:11 - 19 but as far as the structure of what his spirit is composed of I can only see it dimly as looking through a dark glass 1Cor 13:12. Though I know it is there as if I can even touch it because my faith gives it substance. I do hope for a condition that allows a spiritual existence that will be greater than what my imagination can construct. Heb 11:16

check out this thread : The Spiritual Realm and the Physical Realm - when you get a chance I felt like it was on fire

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
