Does anyone else around here use IMVU? It's a 3D IM service. It can be pretty fun.

Okay, here's some Info.
As I said, it is a 3D instant messenger. http://www.imvu.com is the home site. When you register, you will create a customized 3D character to represent you as you chat. It works just like a regular IM, type your message, hit enter.
Pros:
It's free to start just like any IM
It's a great way to meet tons of people
It can be very fun, as there are multiple actions that your 3D characters can act out.
Cons:
It takes up TONS of space on your PC and needs to be updaterd regularly.
To go beyond basic, cost money. You don't need to go beyond basic, but it's less fun.
As babycakes has pointed out, especially since she's a girl, the community is full of people who need Jesus. Mission feild for some, to much of a hassel for others.
I'm on it regularly with the same screen name as my AIM, yankeebrute41. I know a good number of the communities Christians, and we are working on some way to minister collectivly there.
