Well, there are some interesting ads on here! :)

For Kleenexes, Belly Button rings and other household 'essentials'...:)

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. :)

I disabled ad blocker on CF because someone has to keep checking that the ads are appropriate :)

There's another site I"m on that runs no ads at all because there is a solid and reliable donation stream. Just saying ;)

Oh, well, at least, I don't think that either Kleenexes or belly rings are too controversial in any case ...

Given your ear piercing thread, I wouldn't be surprised if belly rings are more controversial than you think :D

I saw an ad for New Zealand next to your OP. Aaaahhhhhhhhh....wish I was over there! :)

You think they 'shouldn't' have it done with the barbells, then?

Blessings.

I don't know what to think :lol

As in, "Thou shalt not wear a navel barbell if you come to this church." I reckon a lot of folk would think this was going over the top, if they treated young women in this way, anyway.

(In any case, I doubt if the the Kleenexes offend even your well developed feelings ... :) )

Blessings.

I love Kleenex! We get them over here :)

This has turned into a slightly weird conversation....:lol

Oh let's change direction, then, if you prefer...

(PS I can understand young women choosing not to wear one for reasonable reasons. But not as rule, that they supposedly 'musn't'.)

Blessings.

Up until about 1969, it was against the rules to show belly buttons on TV. I don't know if the buttons themselves were considered offensive, or if it was just the excess skin of the midriff. Now we show them and decorate them. "We" doesn't mean "me". :cool

I'm guessing it might have been a combination of both.

Boy have things taken off since then...
