In the 33 years since I've graduated high school and have been a registered voter, for the first time I've been called to serve jury duty. Monday, I was the last alternate called for a murder trial that lasted 3 days. Thursday, I was the last juror called for a rape trial that lasted the one day. Lots and lots of DNA evidence and pictures. Especially for the murder trial. So much evidence that several of the jurors asked for asprin for headaches from information overload!!!

I have a dual feeling about that. Are we allowed to judge?

I bet that kind of information can be hard to stomach.

Joh_7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Most of us make a judgment about where to leave our dog if we must... About who to care for a child.... do I want that person for my spouse...... yes we are to judge... In the case of a jury listing and being mindful of both sides of the testimony would be the righteous thing to do....
