Hi,
I am a born again believer, pastor, Biblical teacher and scholar, who believes that the Bible is the authoritative word of the living God and is 100% accurate, from cover to cover. I also believe that it is impossible to properly understand the New Testament, without a good, working knowledge of both the Old Testament and the history, including a good knowledge of the peoples involved, how they lived, spoke, ate, slept, etc.. In general, how they lived.
I believe that the prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled and that Jesus kept His word and returned how and when He said He would.
Christ's Kingdom is not of this world and neither should we be, nor should we be seeking this world as our eternal place of residence. I believe that this runs contrary to the message of Scripture, which is that our citizenship is in Heaven.
I love a good discussion and even a good debate, but not heated arguments consisting of personal attacks that are designed to distract people from someone's lack of ability to refute something, as can be so common in some of these places.
Anyway, I hope this has helped you to get to know me a little better and I look forward to some good discussions, in which we submit to God's word as the final authority!
