Is anyone else losing their posts?

Recently, I've spent 4 hours (2 at a time) on post responses only to have all of that work shoot off into cyberspace and not copying upon submitting....very frustrating especially when important points were to be made....

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there any way except copying to word that will prevent that from happening again?

I've found these days that it's safer to save a copy of the post in MS Word before submitting. It's easy to forget to do so, however, and just click on the 'submit' button absent mindedly.

Not too long back I could spend as long as was required to compose a post without being automatically logged off. These days I'm automatically logged off if I take too long. Then there's a risk of losing the work. I don't know if this is a problem with the forum or with my computer.

Yes, it can be most frustrating to spend a great deal of time crafting a response only to have it disappear into the nether regions of space. I'm sure that this has happened to most of us at some time or another.

I didn't know there was a time out period....I was actively typing an important rebuttal post and it was taking a while positioning the argument in order.....Thanks for the response....

I knoe it might sound really silly but when I lose something I've written I tell myself that the Lord is trying to tell me something.

Kind of like a check. So I usually just leave it for a while and then go back to it some days later or just leave it alone completely.

In love,
