Is God coming back to set up a kingdom on this earth?

Answer....ABSOLUTLY not. He's coming back to get his people and pass his rightous judgement on the the whole earth. Why would our God return to earth from his glory to set up a physically Kingdom on this sin cursed earth. The jews, who were alive while he was here, wanted him to be there earthly King, and so many people today want the same thing where he will rule with an Iron fist giving people a second chance to come to him. There IS no second chance. You either believe in him now or you do not. NOW is the day of Salvation and the accepted time. 2nd Cor. 6:1 Don't be fooled. Believe in him while it is still today. When he returns he will set up a new heaven and a new earth where we will worship him for eternity. I am well aware of Rev. 20 and how men try to use it to advance a thousand year reign on this earth. WE, his people live and reign as kings and priest RIGHT NOW And he is the LIVING RISEN SAVIOUR ruling NOW from his throne in Heaven. Praise his name forever and thank him for his mercy each day he gives you.

God's kingdom shall be on earth, and He shall rule from His most favorite place in the whole universe,Jerusalem......

Just one question,if God was ruling now,why are the below people still here?

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

These people are still here,why?

Guess I have two questions, next one,why do we still have need of the sun?

Revelation 21:23 "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

Isaiah 60:19 "The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee and everlasting light, and thy God thy glory."

Isaiah 60:20 "Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended."

Don't know what you think your ruling, but the fact remains,it's not what you think!!!!

This should probably be moved to End Times. That said, Christians are in the millennium right now. Those who are not Christians are outside the millennium. The Kingdom of God can be expressed as either a millennium or a city. Either way it is eternal, so it is not bound by time or space. Inclusion depends on whether or not you are subject to Jesus' Reign.

The milennium starts at the sounding of the 7th trump, there is noway we can now be in it,as scripture states we shall all be changed........

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_10:7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mar_1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Luk_21:31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Question,in the above verse,it says repent,if the kingdom came shortly, why do we need to repent today?

Luk 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

2Cr 5:17 - Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This idea applies to the world just as it applies to the individual Christian.

Thank you for this post. You just answered for me very clearly a question I had not cleared up.

I don't remember now where it is, maybe Ezekiel, where it talks about those inside the city and those that are outside the city. All clear now.

Paul said not all would die,are people still dying? You will either die before Christ returns,or be changed when He arrives........

Jhn 11:26 - And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Are you alive? Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Bodies die, but people are not mere physical bodies. We are changed when we become Christians. Those who don't trust Christ must wait in hades until the second resurrection. However, as citizens of Christ's Kingdom, when our bodies die Christ comes for us personally. We will not perceive death.

The next event is the Rapture, of 1 Thess. 4, and John 14.

People need to be ready.

The next event is satan coming here pretending to be Christ, and those waiting to be raptured will be deceived...........

Sorry, I have to go with Farouk. He will not come pretending to be Christ until AFTER the rapture.

2 Thes. 2: 6-8 There is someone restraining the man of sin, PREVENTING his revealing, but when that restraining force is taken out of the way, THEN the man of sin will be revealed. He cannot be revealed until FIRST the one restraining is removed or departed.

2:3 part B ...and the man of sin IS REVEALED.....

If He IS Revealed in Paul's argument, then for sure the one restraining has been taken out of the way in verse 3 part A.

World English Bible
Let no one deceive you in any way. For it [that is the Day of the Lord] will not be, unless
the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,

The departure comes first, taking the one restraining "out of the way" and THEN the man of sin is revealed. When this happens, the revealing, there is no doubt, the day of the HAS come.

What then is this "departure" that takes the one restraining out of the way? Of course it is the gathering, Paul's theme for this passage.

We need to be LOOKING UP, and watching, for NOTHING is to come before HE comes for us.

I think He may often send angels, rather than come Himself. I also am convinced people KNOW they have died, for they see their own body after they have left it. But I get your point, there is NO disappointment at that point! We are on the way to see Jesus! (Unless, of course, someone did something stupid that caused their early death - then there may be some disappointment.)

The quote from John is the 2nd death, which is the death of the soul.......Paul was speaking of a physical death,he said this change happens at the last trump, not when a person accepts Christ.......

Again,Paul says not all will die.....The trump sounds and ALL will be changes those who accepted Christ as well as those who did not,for we shall be judged in our spiritual bodies

My point was and still is the fact that we shall all be changed,at that point we will be in our spiritual bodies, this happens at the 7th trump or at death whichever comes first...That's why Paul stated we shall not all die(physically).....When we die we are automatically changed

Christ comes to earth at the start of the millennium,God comes down after.....The kingdom of God is not here yet,but it shall be,that's a fact......

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of Our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God."

satan comes at the 6th trump Christ at the 7th

There are only two advents of Christ, with one more to come.........We are not going anywhere, unless we die before He returns, should that happen then we shall return with Him when He returns at the 7th trump......
