Is Greek and Hebrew the Original Languages?

Read the literary style. How are they written?.

"And Jesus said to them" . It does not say "And Jesus said to me or Us"

compaired with.

"And i, John was on the island of patmos"
I just thought of something else, too. They were all Jewish except Luke.
If we look at the writing style in the OT it is written the same way, more like a story narrative. Moses wrote the first 5 books of the OT. Moses wrote Exodus in the same style. "and Yehovah said onto Moses...."

Yea well, i guess if they decided to write it more like a story. Its like me saying ' And Deborah said to kiwidan', not "And Deborah said to me".

If Moses wrote the first 5 books, he seemed to have written after he had died because it says ' and moses died'. How can he write that if he was still alive?
Yeah, someone else, had to have completed it. :salute
Read the bold. Who ever wrote Luke knew scripture well and the account was delivered with perfect understanding from eyewitness to write down.
It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order.
He was obviously the literate one of the bunch. Most the eyewitness probably couldnt even write.
mm...you are correct about Luke, he isn't saying he was there.:nod
What we know for sure is that Luke was a disciple of Paul. Mark was a disciple of Peter. So that is a very close association, I think.
Luke writing as an historian may have seen Jesus himself and was also writing the things he was told by those who were there. He may also have relied on the writings of Mark.
But we know that Matthew and John were His apostles and I have no reason to believe they didn't write their own Gospels.
At any rate I believe that the original writings were all inspired by God, that's the most important thing. :)

So someone must have completed it in the exact same literary style as Moses?.

How do we know for sure that certain Luke was a disciple of Paul and that certain Mark was a disciple of Peter?. How many people were called Luke, Paul, Mark, Peter, Mary, Joshua, John, Joseph, Matthew?

Joseph husband of Mary, Joseph of Arimathia, Joseph and the magic coat. lol

A lot i guess. No Surnames.
Have you got a "Questions to Ask in Heaven" list? :chin :)

No, i have no questions to ask. If i did, God would probably reply to me "and by what authority do you have to question me in my house". :neutral
The way I have it figured there is going to be someone...a head angel, Peter, someone who will have all the scoop.
You can ask Moses maybe.

third person. In English classes the students often write in third person. does that mean they didn't write the essay?
