Is healing real

I have seen a few serious healings on the LOCAL news. But to assume that serious healings would show up on the big news programs, is really to not understand the nature of those new programs. If a person believes the news is really just purely the news then i can see why it would be expected to see real miracles on there, however the news is propaganda. Yes the events some of them are true, but they are put there to sway the publics mind towards an agenda. To fill the masses mind with their way of thinking so we will all go along peacefully with whatever happens in the world and so we will be convinced of the ideals of the elite so we do not rock the boat. We are told by Jesus that darkness hates the light, would the pharsees have put Jesus miracles on the news? Of course not. Nor will the darkness put on t.v. that which reveals themselves to be darkness and not light.

If someone regrew legs or someone with massive burns was healed it would make it on one of the many Christian tv stations for sure.

oh i agree it may be on christian tv. and they do appear there! i just watched one serious testimony on christian tv where doctors were involved and had declared the person 100% well after ward.

Yes but even on Christian tv its the same old inner ear infection, lower back pain, headache, mystery illness stuff. No obvious healing.

True. Unfortunately most of that is about money and perhaps a bit about ratings, so it is no surprise that you don't see anything "spectacular"--since it is about money, is God really involved? Having said that, God does care about that stuff as well.

When I was younger, I did see a woman's fingers start to grow. She had severe diabetes, and likely other issues, and on one hand her fingers were very short. People started praying one time and you could see white bumps on the end of her fingers as though bones were lengthening and stretching the skin. I don't know what the final outcome was since all the adults had to get in on the action.

I think there are many reasons why we don't see this stuff in North America and other "western" countries.

I haven't been following the thread so I didn't know if you guys were making blanket statements or just statements regarding televangelists.

It is a very rational argument. If an amputee, burn victim, or mentally retarded person had been healed we would all know about it. It would be on the news.

I do not think that would necessarily be the case at all, at least not on mainstream "secular" news channels. But, yes, I would expect the TBN to be all over something like that.

i hope you watch them and are edified in the power and glory of God to heal. Often people do not have the faith these days to be healed so we do not see it as often with things like limbs growing back but it does happen. In the days ahead we will see more faith in few people and growing darkness in the rest of the world.

Did you watch the first one? The first one was a baby and was being treated by doctors. About the second one, being a ypocondriac does not make you not be able to move and make you under the care of doctors for years. They did not say nothing was wrong with her by the end they just did not know what was wrong with her is it your opinion that doctors always know what is wrong and can always diagnosis it and treat it? Furthermore the Lord appered to her many times through what she went through. I will be honest it is a bit disturbing to me to hear another believer accuse a sister who went through such a terrible trial whom you do not know and assume something about her based on nothing and call her and her whole family liars practically. I mean even if you are skeptical, that does not mean it is wise to just accuse something onto someone that you have even met before. And that you are so soon to discredit the Lords work in someones life. I do hope truly that if you ever have such a trial in your life that all the brethren give you more grace then you have given this sister. I do hope you will take time to watch the first one but I am not going to post anymore beyond that and cause you to speak likewise about any of our other brethern. peace and truth in Christ to you.

I went to a lot of faith healing services when I was a kid. Saw the 700 club and Robert Tilton, Benny Hin etc. They all to do the healing thing. Why are all the healing of stupid stuff you can't tell if they really are cured or not? Why doesn't God heal Veterans who's legs got blown off? Or burn victims with horrible scars, or people with downs syndrome? What's up with that. Sure I met people who said their cancer went away, but they could have just gotten better on their own, or just believing it made them better or they naver had cancer in the first place. Why no honest to goodness miracles?

Here is the real deal. Watch to the end and you'll see there is no greater miracle. A physical resurrection in front of your eyes...No tricks.

I have seen a video of what is happening through TB Joshua. People can say what they like, but the Lord is doing HUGE miracles through him. Simple faith !

This is Africa, so we live a little different than the rest of the world. What goes here, would not go down in the first world. In church with TB , you can see a woman with breast cancer standing with her top removed. The one breast is so swollen, that one can see the red, even though her skin is really black. He does not touch her, but asks another woman to touch her breast, while he just prays. The next moment, that breast opens up (a hole appeared on the top ) and you can see a pink liquid starting to literally pump from her breast. Now the camera starts following her around , even to her home, where she sits and this stuff keeps on running down her body. Three days later, she has no signs of cancer left and both breast are now similar again.

They brought a man, whom they found on the side of the street (not a Christian) His buttock were eaten away from cancer. I mean , you can see this on camera. They just zoom in as if this is the normal thing to show on TV. A huge raw wound about six inches from side to side. He cannot sit, so he is in a car outside, lying half naked on his stomach on the backseat with the door open. TB walks up to him and starts praying. He does not touch him, just stretches out his hand and prays. Now again, the camera stays with this man. They show you again three days of healing. That man healed completely within three days. All that was left, was a pale triangle on the top of his behind.

The diseases were so horrible and graphic, that a friend of mine ran out, she could not watch it. Africa can be a bit rough on humans Her husband watched and although he saw it happen, said : "I cannot believe this is real" (Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God...........not by seeing )

There are many such real testimonies about healing. The men through whom God works, they can sometimes fall and stumble because of this. Great humility is needed and the trap of money is a great one. More so in Africa, where few have anything.

TB Joshua was in my country a few years ago and my church hosted him. You know the funny thing ?... most of us could not understand a single word of what he was talking , though he was speaking only English .. and we are an English-speaking nation ! .. There had to be an "interpreter" to repeat what he said ... He preaches very little and spends most of his time in healing and deliverance ... Awesome !!!

LOL I live here and sometimes I use an interpreter.The local languages (we have 11 official languages in South Africa !!!! ) are so difficult and when they speak English, their accents are heavy , plus they have a peculiar way with tenses in their language, which they seem to convert into English. Like German, they have gender in their words. So instead of "A car is going there" it will be "The car, she is going there" But when black and white speak English together, we all use the latter "The car, she is going there", because somehow then we do not misunderstand each other So if any other English speaking person from another country were to listen, they too would need an interpreter.!

See it's always headaches, and things like lower back pain, or numbness. No amputees, burn victims, the mentally retarded, or downs children. Why doesn't got heal severe illness?

With a comment like that I can say you dont knopw what a cluster headache is,,,its more then serious thats why they call then suicide headaches,,,,,,I can assure you,,,if you got one right now you would fall on the floor start screaming and banging your head on the ground and consider taking your own life.....

When people start taking there lives I call the severe illness,,,,and just a tip,,,,I here much doubt in your words,,,that surely wont move the hand of the Lord.....

Yep. I had them for 17 years, since I was 22. If God heals you of those, it's definitely a bit of mercy.

I really wonder what's his "secret" to so much power and anointing ....

And he appears smiling most of the time, after all the work he goes about healing and delivering hundreds of people ... some pastors would begin to show signs of stress and strain by then, but not him, he's smiling everytime I see him.
