I'm a recent convert to Christianity. I was raised a liberal Presbyterian. The whole "last days" thing wasn't a big part of my upbringing.
Now, that's all changing. The more I read the Bible and talk with other believers, the more I get the sense that something is happening. Technology is growing by leaps and bounds, economies are collapsing, morals are falling apart; it all seems to indicate that The End is nigh.
But then I think...haven't people always been immoral and self-obsessed? Haven't we always had godless people running governments and economies? Am I *really* seeing things clearly when I think "this is The End," or is it some sort of psychological reaction, like a wish for things to be ended before they get even worse?
