Is it Ok for christians to listen to music by non-christians

I was reading a c-rock critic of the Beatles, and he said the youth is ignoring the talents of composers like Beethoven. Well, he was a Freemason, which unites all religions under one god. Does this mean that we should not listen to Beethoven?

That's what I believe. Man, I feel like I'm getting too worked up about what others say! I have a talent for rock music, the lord came to me and said I need to play songs for him, yet I still feel clinged in disproving all their points! Hope I can stop soon. I feel like I've dishonored the lord lately.

Don't worry about playing/listening to rock music, or any genre. The lyrics are what matter. Have you heard of Underoath? They're a really heavy metal band, but are Christians. They are in a genre where this is hardly ever the case, so I guess they can be judged quite a lot, but they are Christians, and it's not the gnere that matters. a
