Is it ok to feel nostalgia for someone 3 years later?

I haven't seen my ex in a long time but I still miss her sometimes.

Is this normal? I haven't spoken to her in over 8 months but I occasionally just feel like I still miss her.

Or am I just a loser?

You're not a loser! it's normal to miss someone dear to you even after many years. As long as it does not become an obsession, it is not sinful. Occupy yourself with reading of the Bible or Christian books, Christian forums such as this, or serving in some church ministries ... Who knows, maybe you'll meet someone better ! ... God's plan are to prosper you and not to harm you, and to give you a hope and future (Jeremiah 29:11).
