Is it true that opposites attract?

In some cases yes, and in some cases no. That is, if you are talking about humans.

Yes, but they're too different to stay together, because they have nothing in common.

I think some common ground is essential to having the needed unity and agreement to walk together as heirs of life. So, being passionately in love with God and having a fear of keeping His commands is what's needed for people to be remain in covenant before Him no matter what may come.

Males and females are just designed differently, and just naturally opposite in many ways based on design. Specifically, though, God can use the different gifts we have, and our weaknesses and strengths, to complete our 'one flesh'. We are made for each other so that we can both together, serving in our specific roles and ways, bring glory to God. I think it's neat to see this in believers, and it's interesting how they have their own 'couple personality'. I just love that.

Opposites attract, but once together they are fused into one...to separate is to splinter apart as a single object being ripped in two.

My thoughts, the Lord bless you.

Opposites can attract. Though it never hurts to find a little common ground, especially on matters that are of upmost importance such as faith in God...future goals or dreams...etc.
