Well, what if someone breaks into your barn and steals one of your horses. You live in the boonies so the cops would take a while to arrive. Should you get your other horse and chase the fellow down?

I think the law should take care of criminal matters, but if I had the chance to face the offender, I'd be as scary as I could be to them.....and I can be pretty scary !!! :crazy

Without being too silly about it. There is such a thing as a citizen's arrest. I usually just let the police handle things because they are equipped for it...and I don't like being put in a spot where I am now, possibly, in trouble with the law.
Obviously, the police and the judicial system...aren't always there on time.
I think we need to be careful about jumping across the boundaries of our privileges.
Whether it's Biblical to take the law into our own hands? The answer always is... we ought to obey God, rather than men.
