Shalom,

1Cr 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Common to man: You are not alone in your universe! There are times when all of us feel overwhelmed. Times when we feel that it is us against the world! Times when despite all of our best efforts our feet fell as though they are sinking in waters of despare that only moments before we seemed able to walk over. YHVH says this is ; common to man.

Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land [is] mine; for ye [are] strangers and sojourners with me.
And
1Ch 29:15 For we [are] strangers before thee, and sojourners, as [were] all our fathers: our days on the earth [are] as a shadow, and [there is] none abiding.
Remember that this is not our land! This is not what we are trying to obtain! This is not the place of our promise! This is not our Promised Land!

We are, however to fight to keep what GOD has given us to tend to! We are to be good stewards of what HE entrust us with but we are to do so as representatives of HIM.
2Sa 23:11 And after him [was] Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.
2Sa 23:12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

Noone can take your Lentiles (peas)! If you decide that you cannot fight this battle! If you decide to turn and run away then you have made a choice to forsake what the LORD has freely given to you! The battle is not yours but the LORD's, however HE expects you to do whatever HE calls upon you to do! In that is also said that the victory is not yours but the LORD's! Everyday Joshua tells us in Jos 24:15 that we have a choice to make as to who we shall serve.
Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

No matter what battle you face this day, the choice is yours! Before Shammah stood up to the Philistines they had run him and the other Israelites off repeatedly. Finally he realized that the YHVH that he served was greater than any god of his enemies and he would stand for the LORD. If this was not his day to do so he had resolved to go down firmly fixed on who he was serving and that he was doing what he thought would be HIS LORD's desire! HE was no longer going to let his enemy come and take what the LORD had freely given to him. He was not going to let anything seperate him from his promise!

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Y'SHUA is our PROMISE! HE and the love of The FATHER for us, is our promise of things present and of things to come.
Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Are you letting things come between you and the LORD? Are you giving up? Are you turning and running from your promise or are you going to stand and protect your lentiles?

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
This is not strange!
1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
This is your opportunity to show to the world the GOD that you serve! This is your opportunity to receive your part of the victory that HE bore for you on the cross! This is your opportunity to understand better HIS love for you that HE would take the bulk of your sufferings that you might only take that which you could bear! That which you can shoulder! That which is sufficient for you to withstand!

As an heir and joint heir with Y'SHUA you will have to work the farm but ultimately the brunt of the burden is HIS! HE is the firstborn of many brethren and it is HIS responsibilty to carry on the family name and legacy. Even though you may feel as though you are alone in the lentiles know this that as long as you are standing for HIM, HE will never forsake you!
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Will you stand for HIM or will you turn tail and run again?

The fear you face before your enemy is not of YHVH!
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The enemy will come again to take what the LORD has given you! Will you stand even when you seem to be standing alone? Will you trust HIM or your self?
Jos 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Even though you have but one talent; one field of peas (lentiles). They are what YHVH has given you to work with. Your choices are the only things that can seperate you from YHVH. What will you do with that talent HE has entrusted to your care? Will you give it back or will you reach out to the world and multiply it? Is it worth a field of peas?
