Is Jesus' Sacrifice Eternal?

Is Jesus' sacrifice eternal just in its result, or ALSO in its process?
What exactly does eternal mean?
What does its process mean?


This is a definition of the word Eternal:

The sacrifice of Christ is eternal in the sense that is has already been made and salvation is through the sacrifice of Christ by the grace of God, Ephesians 2:8, which is temporal in it's timing for now is the time of salvation, 2 Corinthians 6:2. Once Christ returns for His Bride on the last day, John 5:28, 29; 6:40 that door of salvation is closed forever.

the mistake people make when they hear the words eternal life/ eternal security is they say so you can live how you want and still go to heaven... that is not Bible i am not advocating the teaching osas or eternal security . what i am advocating is being secure maturity in Him the key is abiding in him .. when abiding we are to bear fruit . i compare it to our relation ship with our parents .there unending love . yes we can separate ourselves from his love.. but he still loves us . the fifty million dollar question issssssssss . can you lose your salvation ? i will not answer that it is my point of view .it is not my job to say.. the Bible gives us warning about unrepentant sin . so i say when i leave this walk of life. i want to know that i gave it my best shot . will i sin ? yes i surely will but the good news is we have a advocate with the father . once again this is not a promotion of osas or osnas . i call it a know so salvation . if my post gets remarks that i am wrong that i am promoting osas.. i will bluntly tell one to go fly a kite

The result of His sacrifice is an eternal process of restoration and revealing the unsearchable riches of God.


The more we are transformed into His image, the more we can apprehend, perceive and comprehend the love of God.

P.S. You like scripture,,,how about Genesis 3:15?
ALL the statements made by God in Genesis 3:14-19
are still going on, still happening...
Why can't 3:15 still be happening...
Just a thought.

I believe the results of His finished sacrifice are eternal.

So in that sense Genesis 3:15 is still continuing to produce fruit.


At the same time, we should consider Genesis 3:15 took place before the foundation of the world.

But even in Catholicism it's something else.
Jesus is the Savior even for them.

I guess I don't understand how Jesus being Savior is different from what Catholics refer to as an ordinary means of Grace. Communion (Eucharist) is an ordinary means of Grace, right?

You need to put that phrase back into it's context, which is Catholic terminology.

I much prefer Isaiah 12 as a way to express the idea: "with joy you shall draw water from the wells of Salvation."

I find this pertains to initial forgiveness in the exact same manner as we get anything else from God.

Communion (Eucharist) is an ordinary means of Grace, right?

communion it self is not grace ..but when done in the right spirit a celebration of grace
