Is making fun of false religions okay?

Solution
Mockery and taunting is not a good characteristic, and certainly not something (I think) Jesus would have encouraged or spoken well of. It is also damaging to our Christian witness. How are we to successfully beckon lost sinners to accept Christ and repent of their sins, when they have seen us acting in an immature and unacceptable manner?
No need, Jesus said: (Matthew 13:30) 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest season, I will tell the reapers: First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up; then gather the wheat into my storehouse.’”

God will sort them out in the end, but for now He allows them to grow together. A loving Christian would not make fun of, rather do their utmost to help them to become wheat.

Lets look at where you philosophy gets us.
If there is a second chance... then why try to make people Christian? Why not just allow people to be as moral as possible?
Then after 1000 years of suffering they will obviously change their mind on Christ and accept Him and be saved.
So long as a person is not the second coming of Hitler(and after 1000 years in fire would not even he repent) they would obviously accept Christ and therefore the Lake of Fire should be empty.

I have no problem with people mocking God.
He is fine with it... so their god should also be ok with mockery.
That's the difference between the Christians and the Muslims. The Muslims get violent when their religion is mocked.

Oh... I thought that it was the same god.... that is what the Muslims say.
So if we have the same object of worship we should be able to joke about it.

It's the same God. But it is mocking of their prophet that they really take issue with.

And why should that matter?
Someones response should dictate your words?
So don't preach the Gospel and there will be peace on earth and Hell will be full.

By all means, have at it. I make fun of the Mormons because of magic underwear and Mitt Romney pretending to pump his own gas.

Is making fun of false religions okay?

You tell me. Read what Elijah did:

1 Kings 18
25 So Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one ox for yourselves and prepare it first for you are many, and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.” 26 Then they took the ox which was given them and they prepared it and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon saying, “O Baal, answer us.” But there was no voice and no one answered. And they leaped about the altar which they made. 27 It came about at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Call out with a loud voice, for he is a god; either he is occupied or gone aside, or is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and needs to be awakened.” 28 So they cried with a loud voice and cut themselves according to their custom with swords and lances until the blood gushed out on them. 29 When midday was past, they raved until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice; but there was no voice, no one answered, and no one paid attention.

Some translation has in v27 "Maybe he is using the toilet."

But God answered by fire. If you have never been to Israel, I encourage you to go and visit the top of Mt Carmel. You will see how far they had to carry the water. Each trip had to have taken hours.

Elijah certainly mocked their religion. Egged them on and on. Worked them up into some kind of psychotic frenzy; and then let God lower the boom on them all.
