Is This in fact Biblical Evangelism?

Would you consider the way this young man presents the Gospel message to a crowd of listeners at the beach to be biblical?

If so, why?

In not, why?

Any ideas from anyone on the best way to evangelize? Would really appreciate you sharing the ideas

I like that man, have seen his other videos. Biblical? In what way? In preaching? yes, Jesus told us to "go". That was the last thing he said to us, that we as Christians must go unto the world and preach the gospel! So in the sense he is very much doing the will of Jesus and the Bible. What he says it pretty spot on too, or so I think (didn't watch this exact video because sound isn't working... but I have seen others and they are all the same).

The best way to evangelize? Read the Bible. Know the Bible. Get an apologetic study Bible. Study it. Read it a few more times!

But in all seriousness, just speaking about the greatness of our Lord! If you have the Holy Spirit than you are well on the way to being a good preacher of the Bible. There is more to going about it though. Soap box'ing is good, but you must really believe and you cannot just speak about half the truth. If you preach sin you need to preach forgiveness. It isn't a one-way street.

It's a tough thing to do, I try. You will be ridiculed by atheists and "Christians" alike.

Start off with friends. Get them going to church (if they don't). Move on from there, but it takes a lot of spunk to get up on a box next to a beach and preach!

Yes I would.

Any time you share the Gospel you have to consider your audience. Atheist and agnostics often reason God out of their lives. If you pitch a tent and put up a sign that says come in here and hear the word of God, what kind of people are going to show up? People who are seeking God and want to hear the word.

But, if you stand on a street corner, and just talk to people like this guy is, your going to get a crowd of whoever. Look at those people. They are watching a show and thinking about what's being said. I think it makes an impact that is very powerful.

All he's doing is reasoning God's word in the minds of those watching. I can't see anyone taking that in and just forgetting about it. He's not just holding up a sign. This guy is holding a public conversation. He's provoking thought. I did not find anything in what he said to be unbiblical in what he was trying to convey, which to me was the idea behind Christianity.
