Isaiah 41:1-3 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to His foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? He gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

  • "Called him to His foot?"...... "He had not gone with his feet?" :confused

41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am He.

  • A similar verse is.....

[list:35hroz7t]Mark 10:31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first."

What that means to me is....the first, the firstfruits, shall be the last, of the last generation. Those here at the last, the end of days, shall be the first, the firstfruits. They are the man child! They are chosen by God to be the firstfruits of the last generation. And Jesus, The Lord, is The First Firstfruit. Notice He said..."I the LORD, the first and WITH THE LAST." In other Scripture He tells us.....

  • Revelation 1:11 Saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and what thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."

1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the First and the Last:

There He said, "I am the First and the Last" but in Isaiah He tells us that He "is the first and will be with the last." And, there is another mention of "His feet." :chin Where else do we read about the man child, those chosen from the beginning to be the last generation?

  • Romans 8:28-31 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. What shall we then say to these thing: If God be for us, who can be against us?
[/list:u:35hroz7t]

He will not only be "with" them at the last but He will be in them and they in Him.

What is meant by He will be in them and they in Him?

  • 1John 2:27-28 But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you? But as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

Colossians 3:3-4 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

John 14:20-21 At that day ye shall know that I am in My Father, and ye in Me, and I in you. He that hath My commandments, and keepth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him."

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin, unto salvation.

Will everyone see Him at this time? It appears that only "them that look for Him" will be those He appears to. They shall "be like Him" and "see Him as He is." And then.....

  • Revelation 1:7 Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Isaiah 41:9-11 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, "Thou art My servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

What about the mention of "feet" in the above verses. What is being said? And what connection if any are "His feet" to the elect? Consider the following passage that concerns "the soles of My feet" during the millennium.....

  • Ezekiel 43:7 And He said unto me, "Son of man, the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and My holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

I really have just gotten to the point of not even bothering to read your ramblings anymore, WW.
If this were my forum....well, no need to go there, I suppose.

I'll say this much, however...if youre going to play teacher at least learn to write something in a coherent manner so someone can understand it who doesnt already believe whatever error it is that youre pushing.
Half the time its nearly impossible to know what point youre really even trying to make. :nono

It may seem complicated but truly...it isn't. I'm sorry I'm not writing plainly enough for it is an important topic...to some, and time may be very short. Hopefully someone will understand, be interested or ask questions. But I assure you...it is NOT an error.

Editing in for after posting this I glanced at the page open in my Bible....

What does ISAIAH teach us of the manchild...?

Isaiah 66:7-13

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. KJV
In my study of scripture, the only version that uses 'man child' is KJV, and other versions use 'male' child, as the word 'child' is added. Whatever the case, my understanding from scripture about 'man child' is that of immaturity, as in Is 66:11 'that ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations' - v13 'one whom his mother comforteth, so will I confort you'. And, I do believe that many 'immature' Christians will be in the kingdom of God, regardless of our human assessment of longivity - 10 years old or/to a 100 years old.

Spiritual maturity is manifest in the spiritual fruits of one's life. The disciples argued with each other before calvary - a sign of immaturity...They also made promises about who and what they would do when faced with death - another sign of immaturity.

According to scripture a 'manchild' covenant (ministry) would start at...8 years old, or at circumcision!

Genesis 17:10-12

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee;
Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant
betwixt me and you.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations,
he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. KJV

Today we don't live in the era of Moses/Sinai/Covenant, yet, still the children are saved by FAITH!

Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith,
the same are the children of Abraham. KJV

It is important, I think, that this is the last chapter in Isaiah. A few verses above those you quoted God tells us...."they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations." He called and they didn't answer. He spoke and they didn't hear. This chapter concerns both sides of the equation.

  • Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, 'Let the LORD be glorified:' but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

66:21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites," saith the LORD.

A second witness is [Rev.20:6], "they shall be priests of God and of Christ."

Isaiah tells us of the man child...both by naming them, in the verses you have quoted and by describing their actions and instructions, in those I quoted in the OP.

  • Isaiah 41:1-3 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to His foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? He gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

"Called him to His foot?"...... "He had not gone with his feet?"

41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am He.

The "feet" and the "eyes" of Christ are significant!

The physical is a shadow of the spiritual so today, circumcision is of the heart. "Every man child among you shall be circumcised." And so it is today when one is a follower, no matter what age, gender, race! Where it is written, "he that is eight days old shall be circumcised," doesn't say they must be circumcised when they become eight days old.

It can be read as, those that are eight days old are of the circumcised. Those that are of the "eight days" are the circumcised. Eight is the number of resurrection. Those circumcised in heart are of the first resurrection. Those of the first resurrection are the circumcised.

Yes, Isaiah 66...concerns both sides of the equation...the child, and the mature!

Yes...all the body parts >> foot, feet, eye, eyes, hand, hands, ear, ears, also left and right, front and back, add to that body posture >> rising, sitting, standing, turning.... all are significiant...

Agreed, literal age is not a factor when it comes to 'circumcision of the heart'...my thoughts are that 'children' first see the literal, but it is in maturity that circumcision of the heart has a deeper spiritual meaning. Jesus told the disciples in John 16:32 the 'hour' has come for you to be 'scattered'...time for you to mature! Enough 'milk'...it's time to grow up...calvary (judgment) is just ahead!

I never thought of it that way...the child and the mature! :chin

Yes, all parts of the body of Christ are important.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:14-17 For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, "Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body;" Is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling. But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him
.

But, in the discussion about the "man child" I've only noticed the eyes and feet in relation to them, so far. I'll start looking at the "rising, siting, etc," as I don't believe I have ever taken it into account. Truly, every word and phrasing is important...isn't it?

When God or the messenger He sends does something, pay attention to every detail....

  • Isaiah 14:22
22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from
Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD. KJV

    Isaiah 28:21
21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in
the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to
pass his act, his strange act
    . KJV

    Isaiah 16:5
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in
truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting
    righteousness
    . KJV

    Isaiah 28:5-6
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of
beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment,
and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. KJV

I read complicated/complex material every day of my life. Your rantings arent complicated, theyre barely even coherent and most of the time completely out of context with the texts.

I'm sorry I'm not writing plainly enough for it is an important topic...to some, and time may be very short. Hopefully someone will understand, be interested or ask questions. But I assure you...it is NOT an error.
Myself and others here have already proven in other threads of yours how youve mangled scripture.
MOST of what Ive read of your material IS error.

Have you indeed? :confused

MOST of what Ive read of your material IS error.

I've asked you before and do so again....please point it out. Realizing, that because we don't understand a point doesn't make it in error on the other person's part. It simply means it should be discussed, with Scripture, to bring about an understanding.
