It's Always Coffee Time!

I just bought 2 Dunkin" Donuts mugs on e bay, $22.62 delivered.
Great coffee mugs.
I grew up in Boston where Dunkin' Donuts comes from.
Those mugs are long gone from the stores.

I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee this afternoon,an Ethiopian/Guatemalan blend I made myself.
Not bad.

It's always coffee time around here!

I'm currently obsessed w/ DD iced...everything. Mostly coffee (flavored), now and then lattes (flavored)...I did have a macchiato the other day (ummm...flavored...). At home, I brew up my DD coffee and drink it...un-flavored, but I go heavy on the cream or half n half. I have a big ole bottle of vanilla extract that says to add a small amount to a fresh pot of coffee...may have to try that.

I like good coffee, and drink it all day. View attachment 8069 is popular here, and I generally like the coffee, but the quality is inconsistent.

For home brew, I like this right now:

good Ethiopian coffee.

I grew up in a community of mostly Finns, who always had a pot of strong coffee brewing. So, I learned to love hot, strong, black coffee. Then, 50 years ago I joined the navy where, once again, there was always a pot of strong coffee brewing. It's been a part of my life.

The best I've had was growing up My Gmother bought green coffee bean and Parched them black in her wood stove and made strong coffee.
