I'll make this brief.

Due to relatively recent events such as the banning of a friend coupled with a horrible layout, a bad case of ads, sketchy management and other past incidences, I have decided to move on to another forum free from such problems where i feel my assistance and advice would better benefit the community. I may still be seen lurking around and may post occasionaly but no ware near the way i usually do.

Sorry you were so disappointed when you came back on, John. The Lord bless you and go with you.

Copout.

If you're going to leave then just leave,we'll miss you anyway and have.

No need to go blaming and flaming. :-)

Sorry to see you go. :(

.

I've learned a long time ago to never burn bridged, even if the bridge is rickety and damaged. There is always hope for repair or rebuilding. And ya might be surprised that the Lord would use you to help repair and rebuild. Jesus never walked away from those who were willing to "improve". Peter, Thomas, Judas.... Jesus knew those three would not be totally true to his following at certain times. Peter and Thomas finally got it. Sadly, Judas didn't but who knows what Judas said before he took his own life. He might have asked for forgiveness for the sins he did. Do you think that If Judas asked for forgiveness that Jesus would have forgiven him, or turned away from him? The two men on the cross next to Jesus, they weren't the best people, they were there being punished for crimes they did. One asked Jesus to save him, the other didn't. You contribution to this forum wasn't all that perfect all the time either, but it was appreciated. I'm sure my contributions here are no less or no more any more perfect or defective than the rest of us here. We are all "flawed" and in need of improvement. IF we keep running from well meaning people because of a few 'flaws" then we will never grow in truly experiencing the fullness of the forgiveness, the mercy and the grace of the Lord. It's not easy loving flawed people. But the Lord does so anyway.... He knows those who are seeking to improve... We are all growing, maturing at different paces... Would you agree?

I hope you reconsider and never say to people that you are walking away to never return. God doesn't do that to those who are well meaning, He shows his mercy, forgiveness and grace. He gives them all that so that they may have the means to walk the road of improvement ... We are all pilgrims in progress, John. We all need times when we need a retreat, any soldier knows that... but then the work of the Lord is not abandoned by any Christian soldier because they are upset that it's not perfect, they just keep on with their service helping where help is needed and also helping those who asked for help.

God Bless you, Hope to see you return soon... :yes

Where is there such a forum? Every Web site I go to that calls itself Christian has all kinds of internal problems. Some are just more tolerable than others.

I love the layout of this forum. One of the better ones imo.

Although, its likely because I am a big Star Trek: TNG geek and it reminds me of the LCAR used for their graphical interface.

The layout as far as topics and such works well but all this advertising is in my honest opinion just a big mess, i already offered to help pay to support the board but i guess it was denied. Ads cheapen it.

The ads were put on by the government to control your mind.

Why the discontent?

John, John, John, honey I'm going to miss you and your post. It just doesn't seem the same without you here. I going to miss your wisdom, humor, knowledge, but it's good to know that whenever I come across the book you gave me, I will remember I was bless to know you John, and say a quick prayer to cover you.

God Bless you Sweety, and may the Lord continue to be a Lamp at your feet...... I'll miss you John. :crying
