It's only polite

So I'll introduce myself before I get started. My name is Tim and I am joining this forum to give online Christian community another try. I think I can enjoy the discussions, and I like reading what other beliefs are, so a forum I can access on my phone is good times.

I am a Christian, and I have had some influential experiences with online Christian communities in the past. I learned and grew a lot from those experiences, and even once left the Church (not Christ, mind you) due to those experiences.... They were bad, to say the least.

But I'm here now, hoping for the best. It's easy to be plastic and overly-dramatic in online Christian communities. Having been a part of 4 very very large ones (as a moderator) and the developer for the friendlyatheist.com websites, I can tell you that I have strict boundaries when it comes to having discussions in forums. If people start getting dramatic (it's always bound to happen) I leave that discussion. I will not stress myself over a situation with a person I have never met.

And that's it. I'm here to learn, to mature and to relax. Not to debate, argue or make best friends.

There, now you know me.
