It's your Choice!

Let me begin with this is not a complaint but it is an observation you have not considered. I have Cataracts in both of my eyes. That is only one of three diseases of the eyes but Cataracts make things dark and dificult to see. I don't know which disease causes the permanent floaters but I suspect it is the Cataracts because the darker it gets the more there are.

This has made reading a real challenge but when some of you write your entire post in red, blue, or other light colors, those of us that are old foggies with cataracts, must be determined to read you message or we will pass it by. If the colored is bolded, I know I can see it but if it isn't I will spend four or five times the effort to read it.

There, the rant is off my chest. May God bless each and every one of you.

For my part, I'm sorry to have added to this. You say bolded works for the eyes too? I'll do that to hightlight scripture quoting from now on. Thanks for letting us know.

Maybe request a high contrasting template to select from? Just curious, which color background and text color is easiest for you to read. Do you have a font size that is desirable? You do know, and I think you do by your computer experience shared in other posts that you can increase the font text size in your browser? Hit control + or -.

As far as typing in other colors, I'd recommend that admin disable those here on the forum. They detract from forum viewing. Most forums only allow staff to type in red, just for FYI.

It has not been a large issue until lately and I think at least one of them, the right is getting ready to have surgery and thank you.

Thank you, brother. Yep, I know about blowing the screen up and my wife bought me one is over 30 inches, I think it is 33 inches. Most people can read my screen from across the room. Having moderated, turning off the colors for the fonts would only bring out the tear jerkers and mods have it rough enough already. May God bless, william.
