Before Jesus died on the cross he cried out Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?

Eli is a word for God and it is derived from his name Elohim which is another name for Zeus.

Paul the apostle did not deny Zeus at all. He told the Greeks that they are of similar faith. But he did not approve how they were worshipping him like a statue. He also told them that the unknown God they mentioned is Jehovah. Zeus is the true God and Jehovah is the real God. He included the Greeks with the Jews at the beginning of the book of Romans and said they are from faith to faith.

I have always believed in him even as a child. And I have never denied him. He is serious and fearful. You have to hope in his everlasting mercy. He can be very nice and kind. When I hear the songs how great is our God and our God is an awesome and I can only imagine I think of him and it can make me cry.

If you don't believe in him I don't think you actually even believe in God.

Quote from Google search : Eli is a Hebrew name that means “high” or “elevated.” It could also mean “my God”
You could say that Eli is short for Elohim.

Quote from Google seach :
Elohim is the one true God, however, the word is always capitalized, meaning “God of gods.
(Zeus is the God of Gods)

He is also connected with God Jehovah the ruler of Gods the real God. the Roman name for Zeus is Jove and Jove is a name for Jehovah.

Zeus is the God of light (knowledge and Wisdom). Elohim is mentioned as God in the creation account of Genesis. He said let there be light and all that. Jehovah is the God of Life (Love, peace, and happiness)

Quote from the apocryphal book of HERMES TRISMEGISTUS : now the creator has control in the place that is between the earth and heaven (limbo). He is called Zeus, that is life. Zeus is Lord over all the earth and sea. And he does not possess the nourishment for all mortal living creatures, for it is kore who bears the fruit. these forces are always powerful in the circle of the earth, but those of others are always from him Who is.

And Jehovah God is in a struggle with Zeus to take back his creation from his control. God be with us. Hope and Pray for the Great day of Jehovah. Zeus is way too serious. And love always wins

  • “Zeus is the child of Cronus and Rhea, the youngest of his siblings to be born, though sometimes reckoned the eldest as the others required disgorging from Cronus's stomach. In most traditions, he is married to Hera, by whom he is usually said to have fathered Ares, Eileithyia, Hebe, and Hephaestus .”
Does this sound like the God of the Bible?

God Jehovah is the God of the bible. Zeus is barely mentioned at all. but like I said he is mentioned in the creation account. but you would have to look at the bible manuscripts to find that name.
i don't think it is in any translation of the bible.

Zeus said let there be light in the bible. Jehovah said let there be life in the book of life

Not all of the false gods, like Zeus, are mentioned by name in the Bible. But zeus falls into the false god category.

This is false.

Elohim is not another name for Zeus.

Yes it is another name for Zeus. Elohim fools around with many goddesses and has children with them. That is Zeus. And in the Lost Scriptures book i quoted from it says that and it says that Elohim is the true God, Jehovah is the real God.

Really y'all should welcome me with the saying, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. When will that ever happen? instead you deny me. call me wrong. and call me a liar. that is a shame. God hates people like that

because of the people on this website my heart is singing a new kind of sad song
Holy... Holy.. Holy is your name. Holy... Holy... Holy is your name

Zeus, being a part of Greek mythology, is not mentioned in the Bible and has no part in the beliefs of Christians.

I love proving people wrong when they call me a liar
With all due respect, I don't think you know what constitutes proof, because that certainly is not it.

You are making a very serious claim.

Where is your Biblical proof?

You have none and yet you also claim that Christians treat you poorly and do not accept you. Why do you think that is?

We have many differing positions on doctrine in this forum, I will assure you that there are no Christians here, who would believe the many things that you claim.

You truly need to examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.

I have plainly told you things in scripture and what not that support my claim. Why are you saying other wise. That is just exactly how the Pharisees dealt with Jesus

You have made vague references to support your claim, which don't support it at all. If you want to support your claim, show precisely where in the Hebrew and/or Greek the name Zeus is mentioned, especially as being called "the true God."

You have said that "Zeus is the true God and Jehovah is the real God." But that doesn't even make sense. There is only one true and real God, whose name is Yahweh/Jehovah but is also known by many titles, including Elohim. You also said that "Elohim fools around with many goddesses and has children with them." That is utter blasphemy.

The Pharisees rejected Jesus but they would also reject any notion of Zeus being mentioned in the Tanahk. They likely would have even stoned you for suggesting that "Zeus is the true God." What Jesus taught was truth, but you are rejecting what Jesus himself taught, namely, that there is, was, and ever will be only one God, and it is Yahweh, not Zeus.

I'm sorry if you are not understanding what I am saying and people are not robots. How precise do you need things written down? Do you have a heart with feelings? If the pharisees threw rocks at me for my confession of God that would not be in vain. According to Jesus I would be blessed. I'm sorry if you don't quite accept different aspects of God. I believe in God. I hope you understand that there really is tension between the spirit world (true) and the real world (reality) these debates could be friction between the two. We need unity. Not division. A kingdom divided can not stand. We are all believers I would hope. I guess it is hard settling differences. I know more than people think. It is not wise to go against the truth of God. If we all can't settle our differences and come to each other with acceptance. The church could fall.
