Why do we say that Jesus was the final sin sacrifice just because he was put to death by the Romans? To be an actual Sin Offering, wouldn't he have had to of been killed in accordance to the guidlines layed out in Leviticus chapter 4 (which detailed how a sin offering should be done)? When was the blood placed upon the horns, . . .pured out at the foot of the alter, . . . the fat removed and burned on the alter, . . .etc?

Yup.....don't forget the Passover lamb had to be without blemish....I saw Mel's "passion" movie a couple of years back....the Lamb that stood before Pilate didn't look to be without blemish, nor was he a youngster (as a lamb is)....he was beaten to an inch of his life.

Not to mention that he was killed outside the Gates of Jerusalem and not in the area prescribed by God (ie inside the temple gates).

Also, I just found this verse concerning the Sin offering....

Lev 4:32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

Female without blemish.......wonder what that means?

Lev 4 gives the regulations for the Sin Sacrifice....

Still looking into it.....How does Jesus qualify as the Sacrificial Lamb..?..I want to know....there must be an explanation in the OT if it is so....

So far the only qualification is that he was crucified on Passover...and that's not even the proper Atonement day....

Thanks for the input, Georges. I also saw that part about the lamb being a female without blemish.
