I don't think the author means it to replace the Bible. I think it rather odd that it would be seen as a extra-Biblical textual message from Emmanuel to readers .
As it reads in the bits I've gleaned from this thread it seems as though the author is extrapolating text from scriptures, which is why the passage references below to make it appear as if Emmanuel is guiding the reader to those reminders, while interpolating her own words to bring a contemporary contextual meaning to those scriptures that would be applicable in today's verbiage while in essence repeating what is scripture but not scripture.

I hearken back to A Course In Miracles, the producers of that older work making the same claims as Ms. Young. Jesus was speaking.

Yes, I think that is all she is doing. In fact, she gives us the verses she is using right there on the same page.

Truthfully, it is not all that great. (You have to scan very steadily and slowly) My bed Scanner is better, but it doesn't do books well.
