The prophecies regarding Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, are confirmed through the New Testament revelations, so that all are without an excuse. He was manifest in the flesh to also redeem those who were under the law, that they too might receive the adoption of sons (Gal 4:4-5, 1 Tim 3:16, Heb 7:11-12).
For unto us a child is born, and unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder (Isaiah 9:6).
There are many glorious titles given to Jesus Christ in the Old Testament.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel

Jesus Christ in the Old Testament - Immanuel the Mighty God
Immanuel means God with us, and Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, is revealed to us in the New Testament.
Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
Jesus Christ in the Old Testament made a covenant with Abraham (Gen 17:5, 9). To understand this mystery refer to the article Yahshua is Yahweh manifest in the flesh.
Abraham believed, or put his trust in God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Rom 4:3).
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The blessing of Abraham would be made available to all through Jesus Christ. We can receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Gal 3:14).
Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Jesus explained to the Judeans that Abraham rejoiced to see the day of his Lord, and when he saw it he rejoiced (John 8:56).
Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Abraham rejoiced in Jesus, who was his Redeemer, for He would save His people from their sins (Mat 1:21, Isa 25:9, 33:22, 43:11, 45:21-22).
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Did Jesus not declare to them "truly, truly, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am". The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Him. But once we have faith in Christ, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (Gal 3:24-25).
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed
This blessing was to Abraham, not modern day Israel. Mathew speaks of the generations that start with Abraham, continue through David and end with Christ. The blessings of Abraham come on all that have faith in Christ.
The reason for this is that the promises were made to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Gal 3:14-16).
Romans 4:13-14 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
Jesus Christ in the Old Testament more than a prophet
Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting
Matt 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Jesus was in the world that was made by him, and yet most of the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and they received him not (John 1:10-11).
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth. And he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him (Deut 18:18).
John 6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
Acts 3:22-23 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
One of the prophecies of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, is that a new Priesthood would be established.
Psalms 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek
Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
All that have the Spirit of Christ in their hearts are considered His children, and the inheritance of the kingdom of God is only possible through Him (Gal 4:6-7).
John 1:10-12 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name
The redeemed of the Lord, are those who Christ has delivered from the power of death. When Christ returns to reign in mount Zion, our redemption in Him will be complete. When we see the Great Tribulation events start to unfold, we are told to look for His return, as our Redemption is at hand (Luke 21:28). The redeemed of the Lord will receive the promise of Salvation, which occurs at His Second Coming.
Isaiah 53:11-12 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors
Mic 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Jesus Christ Is The Shepherd And Overseer Of Our Souls, He is also the light of the world, and has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Those that follow Him in Spirit and in Truth, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (1 Peter 2:25; John 8:12; John 4:23).
Mark 15:27-28 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
The truths contained in the Word of God are spiritually discerned, they are revealed to the Faithful follower by the Holy Spirit, enabling us to hear, understand and obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (Heb 5:9; 2 Thes 1:5-8).
Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation
Remember Jesus stated "I and my Father are one"
