Sadly, many people are willing to reinterpret Christ’s plain meaning in Mark 10 because of their adherence to billions of years. But it undermines the authority of the Bible, and the gospel itself.

This is the exact argument I use and have used on people for years now.

It brings it back to my favorite Bible teacher, Chuck Missler's quip:

If you believe what Jesus, The Son of God, said, you don't have a problem with a young earth.

If you don't believe Jesus, The Son of God, you have bigger problems than the age of the earth.
