Rom 6:23 (A) For the wages of sin is death
(NOTE: The law demands sins required wage/price - DEATH - be paid)
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
NOTE: Because of man's (ADAM) disobedience/sin many were made sinners. Likewise, because of the sinless/obedience of one (JESUS) many shall be made righteous)
2 Cor 3:
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
(NOTE: The letter = The 10 commandments = comdemns & KILLS)
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
(NOTE: The ministration of death = The 10 commandments = written and engraven on 2 stone tablets)
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
(NOTE: Sin is transgressing God's given laws)
We've all have broken God's law. No one can say he is not a sinner until some means is provided (not to take away the law) but to remove the sin, which is the transgression of the law. Jesus sacrifice/payment takes/removes our sin. Once our sins have been removed, there is no transgression of the law.
Jesus destroyed the power of the law to condemn us. By atoning for sin on the cross.
When we place our faith in His faithful atoning sacrifice/work: His death (sins required wage/price PAID), burial (proof he died) & resurrection (God's receipt, payment receiced & accepted).
The Father then imputes/transfers Christs righteousness onto us (Rom 4:3-8) & our sins are imputed/transferred onto Christ.
While the Temple was operating the High Priest had authority to impute/transfer sin (Lev 16:21). Christ is our Great High Priest (Heb 4:14).
Rom 4:3 What said the scripture? Abraham "believed God", & it was "imputed" (transferred) unto him for righteousness
JESUS CAME TO FULFIL THE LAW:
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
(NOTE: Anyone claiming the law is still in effect. Is claiming Christ failed at his mission to conquer sin & death)
WILL OF THE FATHER:
Matt 7:21 Jesus said; Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; "but he that doeth the will of my Father" which is in heaven.
(NOTE: Question: Anyone who is obedient-repentant-baptised? NO! Christ say's "he that doeth the will of my Father'')
HOW WE DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER:
John 6:40 Jesus said; This is the will of him that sent me, that every one which "seeth the Son, and believeth on him" may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
(NOTE: The will of the Father is: Place your Faith in the redemptive sin atoning sacrifice. Found in the death (sins required wage paid), burial (proof Christ died) & resurrection (God's receipt, payment received & accepted)
1 Cor 15:
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
