I know that you can see references to Jesus in every book of the old testament. I was reading Job today and found this

Job 9:32-35 New Living Translation (NLT)
32 “God is not a mortal like me,
so I cannot argue with him or take him to trial.
33 If only there were a mediator between us,
someone who could bring us together.

34 The mediator could make God stop beating me,
and I would no longer live in terror of his punishment.
35 Then I could speak to him without fear,
but I cannot do that in my own strength.

Jesus is called the mediator in 1 Timothy 2:5. I'm sure this is referring to Jesus but I'm also not so sure. I would also like to know if there any other references to Jesus in Job if you know of any. I love the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) references to our Lord in the Old Testament.

Job 19:23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. 28 But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? 29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.

Job chapter 9 is Job arguing his case before his friends after acknowledging a Redeemer in 19:25-27. From vs. 23-29 Job cries out for a mediator. The book of Job raises problems and questions which are answered perfectly in Christ who identifies with our sufferings, Hebrews 4:15, 16. Christ is the believers life, redeemer, mediator and advocate.
