What does this mean? It means that God has accomplished his purpose in Jesus Christ. As far as God is concerned Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and now sits in heaven as "The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16. It's over, its finished and Jesus is Lord. God sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ. Religion is man's attempt to do in his flesh what God has ALREADY done in Jesus Christ.
Paul said, "And you are complete in him, who is the head of all principalities and power" Colossians 2:10. The religious don't believe that. They believe that you MUST become complete in Jesus by the works of the law. What you do. Paul wrote, "For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were MADE sinners, so by the obedience of one (Christ) shall many be MADE righteous" Romans 5:19. We were MADE righteous by the doing and the dying of Jesus. Jesus is the one that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
Salvation is totally and completely outside of us and is only found in the work and the person of Jesus Christ, not in a subjective religion that wants you to try and save yourself by being good enough. Paul wrote, "But God commended his love towards, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8. You won't have to go to a class where you can try and learn how to be saved. You have ALREADY been saved by the doing and the dying of Jesus, Jesus has ALREADY provided salvation for everyone, Hebrews 2:9. It is God's great free gift for everyone, Ephesians 2:8.
