JESUS Said Let Them Which Be In Judea Flee To The Mountains = Matthew 24;15-18

JESUS Said Let Them Which Be In Judea Flee To The Mountains = Matthew 24;15-18

Matthew 24;15-18

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Mark 13:14-16
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let him that readeth understand, then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

Luke 21:19-22
In your patience possess ye your souls. And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

AMEN

Zech 14
I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped.Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Rev 11
At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

I consider that the three references that you quote are speaking about the events of AD 70, not the coming return of Jesus in Zechariah 14 mentioned by Randy .

Kind regards

Notice the people of judea who see it are outside. On the rooftop or in the fields.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Keep in mind,Daniel wrote that it is the armed forces who set up the abomination that causes desolation .I know of one object the armed forces use to make desolate and it is a fearful sight.

Revelation was written after 70 AD. Are you saying John is writing about history and not making a prophecy?

Greetings JT4444,
Revelation was written after 70 AD.
I agree. One good suggestion is that he wrote the Book of Revelation in AD96 and I can accept this as being fairly accurate.

How did you deduce this? I never mentioned the Book of Revelation, but I mentioned the three Mount Olivet Prophecies, and also Zechariah 14. Now that you mention the Book of Revelation, I subscribe to the Continuous Historic view, that the Seals, Trumpets and Vials are sequential, starting with the First Seal in AD 96 and the 6th Vial period will see the return of Christ and the Battle of Armageddon.

Kind regards
Trevor

Sorry. My bad. I was mixing up posts. You obviously didn't refer to Revelation in your post.
