Jesus came to earth preaching a message of repentance of sins. He was not welcome among the religious leaders, who wanted him to bow down to their way of thinking.

Would Jesus be any more welcome among the church leaders today?

Certainly, among those who actually serve Him.

That is a very good question. What if Jesus came to earth today preaching the same Gospel as he did, and through parable and sermons preached did how to respond in action as he?

How would he be treated?

I believe that for most people, if they happened upon someone claiming to be Jesus, they would think the guy was nuts and if Jesus began to gain followers society would view the group an another cult.

If he came today in the way he did before, (that is he never came to earth before), then he would most likely be treated in exactly the same way he was, because of prophets predictions and he would have to fulfill the scriptures.

If he came to day and it's known he came before, most likely, after the 'leaders' are done with him, he'd be paraded before the media and mercilessly questioned to the hilt.

But as it is, he not going to do that, when he comes again, it'll be to redeem his children.

<DIR>I doubt many would accept His teaching as Truth

Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

He would be rejected, for sure here in today's America, and the vast majority who would reject him are those who say they are ........

I would say in America today, many would think of him as some sort of crazy bible thumping man. Then some would think of him as a very good preacher. But many would just reject him especially those who say they are Christians. He would even be thought of as the anti-christ.

He would be thought of a the anti-christ in America today. The way Christianity is being taken away from us here would give you a good idea of how he would be treated. It would be the same as if he was back 2000 years ago. He would be rejected by the main stream of society. Ridiculed by the majority. But not beaten or put to death.

For the most part, no.

Jesus would preach the same thing as he did then: the gospel of the Kingdom. Too many churches rather you become saved so that you "die and go to heaven"--- a 180º turn. And when it comes to the Kingdom, it's amazing how much this has been convoluted to mean something else e.g. "within one's heart" instead of a King that comes here, takes the Davidic throne as the bible clearly teaches, and can overtake Satan, the god of this world. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure many preachers could face Christ when He comes back, because actually he is. But it won't be a "gentle, mild Jesus" holding a lamb, walking in bare feet, a staff and with his head cocked lovingly to one side like one sees in paintings.

He would probably be regarded as an antisemite and a 'hater' of isreal.

8:15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of
the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

Christian zionists would have a field day.
