Jesusisaliberal.org What do you think?

"His philosophy, based in compassion, equality, inclusion,
forgiveness, tolerance, peace and - most importantly - love, is 100% Liberal."

What a biased load o' hoo-ha.

Jesus isn't any political affiliation, and I can't stand the way we tend to bring the King of Kings and Lord of Lords down to our worldly level by presuming he'd be at ALL concerned with the petty political seperatism of our government.

What makes this country so great is that we have clearly been BLESSED by God, and we are probably the first country to answer when the nation of Israel calls for help to defend her from her Palestinian oppressors.

Convenient, they dodge His view on abortion. Especially late term abortion. How would they explain Christ wanting to be in the hearts of all mankind. Why did He not include in the Great Commission except "All Govt Buildings". All just bet the King of Kings, loves being excluded in justice, learning and governance.

Amen to that. You said that quite well, Ajax.

Hey hold up a minute, God is involved in politics Daniel 2:21. He is involved with the affairs of His people, He has also told you how to govern yourselves, and he set a system in place, called the government, but man does not follow His rules. Man did not invent government God did. Like Romans 13:1-6 says these governing people are supposed to be the ministers of God. But they fall way short, because they don't follow all the governing laws that God has put in place. Daniel 2:21 says that He sets up kings, and He removes kings, which is a political system, there are many laws out of the 613 that are used today, except for the sacrificial laws, which Jesus done away with. These laws were by the inspiration of God, not man, these laws were put in place, so that earthly leaders could govern the people. He God was not involved in the governing of His people, He would not have put the laws in place.

Although I agree that God is in politics, I don't think that it's right for people to place Him in a box, such as conservative or liberal. God is not meant, and does not want, to be stuffed in a box. He's God! He created the box! We can't stuff Him into it and limit Him to its dimensions. That, I believe, is very wrong.

It's ALSO very self-serving. Liberals don't corner the market on compassion, equality, inclusion, forgiveness, tolerance, peace, or love --- these are HUMAN traits. Conservatives practice them just as often as Liberals.

All good things like love come from God. He doesn't just impart them to the liberals.

AMEN! Just in case people forgot both political affiliations (Liberal, Conservative) are imperfect. Jesus above anything viewpoint that man can come up with. So in other words Jesus is not either Liberal or Conservative.

Amen, and AMEN! His ways are above our ways, and His thoughts are above our thoughts.

“Why is Jesus a Liberal?

[…]

Over and over again, He taught us to believe in and live a spiritual and
ethical life based in our essential, inherent goodness.â€Â

Now that is funny. Obviously the followers of this website have not read a Bible before, man is not inherently good…they are inherently bad.

[F]or all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God… (Romans 3:23 NASB)
Not to mention Romans 3:9-18.

“While not Biblical scholars…â€Â
No, really I could not tell they are not biblical scholars.

Let us use a little logic. If Jesus is a liberal than at the other end of the spectrum that would mean conservatives are satan worshipers. Then when conservavtives say liberals have an un-Christian/godless/Unchristian agenda than that makes them false prophets. So that means Christian Morality Is...UnChristian?

This makes the conservative Love Affair With Declaring The Left Half Of America "Un-American" un-American and a declaration of war. Rev. Falwel and Pat Robertson have started a holy war in America so that make them the Taliban.
I could go on, but I agree Jesus is for everyone except..................just kidding He is for everyone.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

How can He be a part of man's government (liberal or otherwise) when He IS the government set over anything of man thoughout the entire world... much less the US? To make Him out to be comparable to anything of man's attempt to govern themselves is to dethrone Him and make Him much less than what He is.

But then, that's the purpose, the whole point, isn't it?
