sombody want to explain to me whats going on here in john 6:47-71 im just find it confusing right now mabey cause it 2am i dont know

There's a lot going on there, were there any specific parts you were having confusion about?

Are you confused about some of the disciples leaving? Jesus' response to Peter's confession?

I would suggest to you that v. 47-65 are a description of the Christian celebration of "communion" (/breaking bread in remembrance of Christ's command at the Last Supper).
v. 66-69 is the reaction to His teaching, and the last two verses you mention are a prophetic revelation by Jesus to the remaining disciples. It is also a reminder that we must always examine our faith-- we believe because God chose us, yet at the same time we still have the opportunity to reject that gift of faith and choose not to walk with Christ anymore (as Judas does).

Alright, I try and explain my views. Unlike CatholicXian here, I believe that the eating of flesh and the drinking of the blood is purely metaphorical. It symbolizes a kind of union between you and Jesus.

the spirit it is that is giving life; the flesh doth not profit anything; the sayings that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life; (John 6:63)

Everything that he is speaking here is spiritual. It is not physical. Since the flesh does not profit.

and he said, `Because of this I have said to you -- No one is able to come unto me, if it may not have been given him from my Father.'

God the Father is bringing men to the Son. It is all done in the Fathers timeframe and according to His will.

I'm sorry that I couldn't go into anymore depth. This area isn't my forte.

Ya there are 2 differnt things going on here and it realy the first part that more confusing to me where he talking about the flesh and blood and stuff

I'll try and gather more information for you, but it's real late now so I will have to do it tomorrow. It is good that you are asking questions.

47-59 is Jesus's rather famous "bread of life' discourse. It sets the stage for the Last Supper.

60-71 talks about the disciples who turned away from Jesus. You'll notice the Twelve stayed with Him and Simon Peter said acknowledged his words as having eternal life.

Jesus, therefore, said to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you, If ye may not eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and may not drink his blood, ye have no life in yourselves; (John 6:53)

he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, doth remain in me, and I in him. (John 6:56)

The two above passages, in my views, cannot literally mean that you are to eat the flesh of Jesus. That is pure hersey and absurdity. You need not do an earthly form of ritual to obtain life age-during. If we look to the begining of the passages in question, Jesus says,

`Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is believing in me, hath life age-during;I am the bread of the life; (John 6:47-48)

This states that you only need to believe in Jesus to achieve "life age-during." It goes on to say that believing in Jesus is the bread of life, which is what in futher passages is the metaphorical eating of His flesh.

The drinking of the blood as I see it is basically the same thing. Blood is a symbol of life. And bread is the nourshiment for the blood.

Again, the practice of literally eating the flesh of Jesus and drinking His blood is absurdity. Jesus once says that he is the Door. Does that mean that we need to walk through a literal door in order to reach God. And when Jesus says that we must take up our cross and follow Him; is that meant literally? I can surely say that it is not. And taking this passage literally is just as crazy as any of the others mentioned.

So realy by reading his word, studying it and following it we are in a sence eating the bread flesh and drinking the blood as it talks about

just bleave in your heart that he real and follow him and his word and you have internal life for ever

You are correct, brother.
