Judge Joe Brown Locked Up in Jail After Bizarre Courtroom Outburst
Judge Joe Brown has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

yup me too... i believe this story is at least a year old...I would rather watch him then Judge Judy...

sheesh... i like that guy... i know all we see is the TV personality ... Joe Brown showed us daily he is decent human...:)

I think the magistrate should have took him into chambers and talked to him, because this kind of mess looks bad for the judicial system. I am angry at the magistrate.

That would have made a lot of sense. I wonder if he might have already tried that and it hadn't worked? The article probably doesn't give us every detail. But then it seems there's been some problems in this court before according to the report, so maybe the judge (or whatever he is, it says he's not a real judge) didn't bother to handle it the way he should have. Either way, it DOES look bad for the judicial system. I'm glad no court case I was ever involved in went this way! I've always found the lawyers and judges to be very professional, nothing at all like on TV shows or movies.

Former TV court judge Joe Brown was arrested on Monday, March 24, after he allegedly became verbally abusive while representing a client in a child support case in Memphis, Tenn., reports TMZ.

Brown was appearing before Juvenile Court Magistrate Harold Horne, who warned the 66-year-old to calm down. When he did not, he was given two days in jail for contempt of court, before it was increased to three days in jail when Brown started yelling as he was removed from the courtroom, reports CBS News affiliate WREG Memphis.

Brown is best known for his TV series "Judge Joe Brown," which was canceled in 2013 after 15 seasons, and is currently running for Shelby County District Attorney.

I have to admit I like Judge Judy.
In the UK we have one which has started called Judge Ringer.
It's pretty funny compared to Judge Judy.
