First of all I'll start with the praise. My mother recently told me about a childhood friend of mine who had a lot of problems as a girl growing up and so she turned atheist and starting drinking at the bars and basically turning into a slut. However, although I was rather worried about her I never stopped praying for her and what happened next just goes to show a little prayer goes a long way. For just about a few days ago my mother ran into another one of our friend's mothers and apparently she has really turned her life around and rededicated her life to Christ. 
So I just wanted to praise the Lord about that! It looks like she has a very steady boyfriend and a decent paying job as well. So that's my bit of good news that I have to share with you, but unfortunately there's a lot of bad news as well for another friend of our family who has been in and out of prison, addicted to drugs, and stealing money from her family to buy them. Because of this her children have been taken away from her and even though it's for their own safety it is a very sad and horrible situation and I feel absolutely one hundred percent awful about it. Her name is Rose (the same name as my middle name) and prayers would be very much appreciated since they did a world of good for my other friend (Amber) that finally came round to knowing the Lord again which although Rose has already identified herself with being a Christian, I'm really afraid she is backsliding and losing her way.

But it isn't in their best interest to be in her custody when she's a drug dealer. Their stepmother really treats them and loves them well though and their father although he had problems with the law himself in the past has really straightened out as well so that's a couple of plusses there.
