That was one of the Grunts Served by the 227th. Yellow was the color on their doors ours was blue. If I recall correctly,a square is A Company, I know the C ircle was B Company and a triangle was C Company, D Company in the Spades were painted with Smiling Tiger Shark Teeth and were called the smiling Tigers.

Oh and if you have any pics from his time in Vietnam that have been rode hard and put up wet, even torn apart, I restore 'Nam 'Nam vets pics for free. If you need it I will instruct you on the settings you will want to scan them at and then you keep the originals and they cannot be lost.

After I finish them I email the files back and you can get them printed in any size you wish at most drug stores. That reminds me of the Hippie I taught never to spit in the face of a man 24 hours out of the Killing Fields. The cop saw it all and let me get out of Frisco while he took the Hippie to the Hospital. Yeah, we were dirt under their feet for doing our duty.

I have no idea who that guy was. I watched that video and his face just stuck in my mind. I do hope he made it home, and he has found the Lord.
Thank you again for your service. May God bless you real good!
I recall an episode of the TV sitcom "Taxi" where Jim, the mechanic played by Christopher Lloyd, made an ill advised comment in the presence of Tony Danza, whose character was a Vietnam vet. Danza let him have it, and at the end of his speech said something to the effect of "Now, what do you have to say?" Jim looked at him and said "Thank you." Danza got a rather sheepish look on his face and replied "You're welcome."
