Just One Distant Lone Volcano

Sitting here watching the news regarding the volcano currently erupting and it occurred to me; This is one volcano in the remotest part of Europe that is wreaking havoc over the entire continent and "european union".

Imagine if you would the effect of 2, 3, 5, 20 volcanoes globally?

How would the world "deal" with it?

Is there any truth to the belief that volcanic activity is very often determined by earthquake activity in the area?

If so, i want to take this time to remind those who are reading.....

Any five year old knows 2 + 2 = 4
