Growth Justified By Faith But Without Works That Faith Is Vain

"Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."
Romans 3:27-28

We do not receive salvation based on obeying the commands of the law, since we already broke it, but we receive salvation by faith in Christ.

"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?". James 2:14-20

And that faith will bear good fruit. If it doesn't, the faith is pointless.

Christ said, "If ye love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:14). He also said, "Not everyone that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21).

Lots of people claim that they love the Lord but fail to obey the Lord. Faith proves itself by works (words and deeds). In keeping God's commandments, we show the world that we love God.

Think about it: how do you show the world that you're a follower of Jesus? It's by doing the things Christ did.

How true,
If you believe your key will start your car and take you home, but then you go out and just sit on the hood of your car and say car, take me home, it will not work. However if you put the key in the ignition, (thus activating your faith), your car will start and you can then drive home.
Faith without corresponding action is dead.
