Does anyone know anything about it? I've been trying to study it but it's pretty hard to get my head around it. It's not a religion as such but rather, seems to fit into many religions. Some people brand it "Jewish Mysticism", others say Christianity could not exist without it. A big factor in Kabbalah is the "72 names of God"-In Exodus 14, during the parting of the Red Sea, there are 72 Hebrew letters in each of the 3 verses when the sea is parted, and Kabbalists attempt to harness the power of the "names of God" and use it in their own life. This is a very breif-with-limited-understanding-of-the-subject description of something that goes extraordinarily deep. There has been a big upsurge in the use of Kabbalah in relatively recent times.
