does anyone know if this is a christian band.
its lyrics sort of lean that way sometimes but i've heard many different answers.

Dennis: I don’t know if they told you or not but our site is a Christian site and we promote positive music. I know you guys are probably asked this a lot, but reading your lyrics it is obvious of the Christian/Religious views. So, my question is, are some of the members Christians or has religion played an important aspect for the bands message?
Joel: Yeah well I don't think we really, I myself, Adam and Howard were brought up Christian but never really heavily religious or anything like that. I mean defiantly don't try to be blatantly like a Christian band or spread that kind of message but I think it's pretty obvious if you read into the lyrics that there's some of that stuff going on coming from that kind of background. Especially with Jesse, who is very religious and a very strong Christians and everything. So the last couple of records there are even quotes from the Bible and stuff. He was very into the very positive message. I think Howard is into some of that as well but what's different with Howard is that he does have some songs that are a little bit harder. For example, "The End of Heartache" is pretty much about your heart being broken from being away from somebody you know. I don't know if that something Jesse would have written about. Some of Howard's approach are a little darker you know. But it's not to far off.

thanks a lot, i have heard a lot of different stories with it and its good to know b/c i love this band sooooo much. i used them for a project i did on heavy metal music and every one was saying why do you listen to "devil" music and it took forever to explain it to them. :infinity:
