In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus talks about taking care of birds etc. This portion of Scripture came to life when a Kitten was in trouble....My wife Debi is the office manager at a big compost production company. A machine operator spotted a mother cat with four kittens. When he approached the pile of food waste with the machine, the mother and three kittens took off one way and the fourth took off another way just to fall into a bucket of roofing tar which was not supposed to be there. The operator got out and pulled the kitten out of the tar which had covered all of his body up to his chin.
Debi brought him home and the next week used Dawn soap to get the tar off him. Little did we know that this kitten had been born without upper eyelids. He would eventually go blind if the hair over his eyes were not removed. This was confirmed by our Vet.
Debi took him to a animal optometrist. The surgeon told Debi that he would need at least three laser treatments to remove the hair. The cost would be $1,200.00 for each treatment. Debi prayed for a miracle because we didn't have that kind of money. The Dr. came out and told her, because she had a cat with the same birth defect, she would only charge her $50.00 each visit.
Today, he is a beautiful cat (6mo. old) He has had three treatments and is doing fine. Debi called him Tari.
I have a little bed for him in my office and this morning it came to me as I was looking at him. None of the other kittens had that birth defect. They all ran to safety but Tari went the wrong way into a bucket of tar....I believe that Jesus knew of Tari's condition and caused these events to happen just to save this little kitten's life.
Listen, if Jesus is aware of a little kitten in Greenfield, Mass. How much more is He looking out for your wellfare. Is not our God the most wonderful, awsome God? "Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you" Praise Jesus with a greatful heart, praise Him, Praise Him.
