I would like evryone's reflections on this paragraph:

CCC 1: God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.

Are you able to give reference to the quotes you make please? I'm pretty sure when we use other people's 'work' we are required to show the source.

Thanks

Why is every one of your posts a challenge to me? You never address the thread: You just direct posts towards me. Try addressing the thread for once.

:-?

Thanks Ed. 8-)

Sources please... I've already explained to you once why sources are necessary.

Everyone, this also applies to scripture unless one is quoting from public domain like KJV and Young's Literal Translation.

The link is in the first post now. Sorry. Now, who can please give me some reflections on this paragraph.

All of us can read something like that and agree in general with much of it. The problem is when I read it, I read it from a premise which is different to yours. So essentially it is just words which mean different things to different people.

A point I strongly contend with is that God calls all men.

Well I must admit to being surprised at this. Perhaps you could elaborate, because I was under the impression the Bible says that God wills the salvation of all. Granted, many do not heed the call, but doesn't God call all to come to Him?
