Knowledge PUFFS UP, but CHARITY edifies.

God is a Spirit. That is the Spirit of truth.

God sought us to worship Him ion the same Spirit.

The flesh profits nothing, the words from God are Spirit, these words of the Gospel, are what quickens us.

When a person speaks good words, and does nothing of those good words, it profits nothing, their faith is dead without the Spirit.

God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Matthew 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

This is the doctrine we have learned, ( man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, not from the mouth of any man adding and taking away from Gods living words. Matthew 4:4.)

Good words and fair speeches, are given by people to cause division and offences, as it is no good to speak words without doing them, it profits nothing, it is flesh without Spirit. ( flesh speaks and does nothing, the Spirit DOES THE WORK. John 14:10.)

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Gods gift gives more than words, God gives a living gift, of living water, along with the living bread, this is the Spirit that God gave through Christ, believing in the glory of Christ.

Why believe those who receive honour ( glory) of one another, and why not seek the honour that comes from God only ?

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

John 5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Son of God did always what pleased the Father. ( always in the Spirit, never in the flesh.

After Christ is glorified, we know no man any more after the flesh. ( flesh speaks and does nothing of what is spoken.)

If we are in Christ ( in belief of Him, the Spirit, and not believing men, of the flesh.) we are a new creature, because all became new ( worshiping God in the Spirit.) and all old passed away. ( speaking good words, and doing nothing that profits.)

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Those in the flesh who speak words and do none of them, cannot please God.

If we do not have the Spirit ( worshipping and doing truth.) we never came to the light, as our deeds ( of speaking and not doing) are not wrought in God.

The scriptures give hope, men take that hope away.

Gods gift, of granting us to be likeminded one toward another according to Jesus Christ, is not pleasing ourselves, but it is done through believing in the reproaches that Christ bore for us, not pleasing Himself, but pleased us for our edification. ( knowledge of the vain talkers puffs up, but the charity of Christ edifies.)

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

Your post is ok as far as it goes but “worshipping in truth” is intellectually having an understanding that matches Gods understanding as far as it goes. It is not experiencing nor is it “spiritual” (nebulous.) That is, we don’t need to know exhaustive truth, but what we do know is true. It also means can actually explain God to some degree in terms that make intellectual as well as moral sense.

The post you said was OK, contained Gods Word for belief in His truth. ( of the Gospel.)

The post also shows how peoples words in comparison, not only are not the saving truth people need, but are actually words designed to be against Gods words, their own words which speak not of the glory of God ( Christ rising from the dead.) and then speak against them by good words and fair speeches as testified in the post.

Gods word also does not limit what we understand about God, but our comprehension is as told, to be filled, with all the fulness of God, to know the love of Christ. ( this is the truth of God of the Gospel message.)

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
