Well, what did everyone do for labor day?

As for me and my houshold?... We got stuck out on the lake and was towed into shore by a pontoon boat :-D

We went to Helen Ga. for the week-end. It was a good little get-away and it is so beautiful up there...

We had friends out to visit. Really just two families, but there were thirteen children...and two babies!!! We did the traditional BBQ, which was good, and the fellowship was wonderful. The children played so well, we didn't really hear from them...had to keep checking on them. LOL!! The adults just sat and talked about the Lord, and we even sang a few hymns, It was just all just a blessing.

Sorry Jeff, I was just kidding man about the boat breaking down and you guys making the best of it. Did you have to use the duffle bag until your sweet wife calmed down? I hope you and your family had a great time. Hey when life gives you lemons.......make lemonaid! :-D

Kudos HIM,
Carol

13! Sounds like a hand full! I'll bet the singing was wonderful!

ha ha! It wasn't my wife that needed to be calmed down :x ... If somebody would have offered me a dollar, I'd of sold the boat in a heartbeat! I was soooo mad I just had to sit there and hold my tongue.

I had to just keep thinking back on how much fun we had on the boat Saturday, even though the gas was sour from sitting for so long (some of it was like 4 or 5 years old), it ran good enough to pull a tube. I added another 10 gallons of premium monday morning and for the short time the boat ran before the batteries died, it ran good! Ahh, things to come!

Sounds like it just needs some minor maintenance, Jeff. We have a small aluminum bass tracker boat that doesn't run, but I'm not sure what's wrong with it. It was fun to just take it to the river and ride when it did run.
