How often do you lie?

Even in a jest...which can be bad?

I lie a lot, God please forgive me.

Even more when joking.

How about you...this question leads to an even bigger one...

PLEASE ANSWER!

Can't tell when last; won't intentionally do it ...

If you don't intentionally do it -- it is only a lie to those who know the counter statement to be true.

But you believe your statement to be true if you don't know?

Did you know that you we're not intentionally lying?.

Or did you do it for the good of someone?

I think verses such as Revelation 21.8 should cause us to go to the Lord Jesus seeking forgiveness.

true ...

Yep

Did you know that you we're not intentionally lying?.

Nope, otherwise it'll be intentional ...

Or did you do it for the good of someone?

Never would do it for that reason ...

....

Thank you

Do some Lawyers lie for a living?

I suppose they may say it's a means to an end ...

What percent would you guess lie?

Not sure that matters ... a lie is a lie ...

Is playing with the truth lying?

depends ...

Can a Lawyer be Christian?

The Christian will have to examine his conscious I guess ...

....

What percent of Lawyers lie (i meant)?

How much does that matter though - a lie is a lie - what is there to gain from knowing what the percentage is ...

IF lying is a sin and Lawyers do it all there lives why are they considered Christians?

Should they repent every night?

I think again the answer to your last two questions is the same: they must examine their conscious.

I doubt in EVERY case they must lie; maybe it depends on what type of lawyer they are ...

What percentage of Lawyers lie?

As in what percent of Christian Lawyers Lie?

Can I lie habitually every week and have true repentance at the end of every week?

I'm asking these questions to avoid biases

I often omit revealing things where i think by doing it i risk creating a controversial discussion or a stumbling block for another christan.

how often do i lie?
every other day " how are you today-ans I'm good. whether its true or not.

AS for being honest I would really love to ask some questions here in the form of threads but it could cause arguing so i dont

Interesting question, but 'My client says he didn't do it' isn't a lie from the lawyer...the lawyer isn't supposed to know what the client has or has not done, but is reporting as instructed.

An interpreter for a foreign visitor isn't lying when s/he says in English that a product is the best in the world (for example), even though the visitor might not be wholly honest.

An accountant isn't lying when s/he prepares a tax return on the basis of records the client says are complete but may in fact not be; whether the client is being completely honest is another matter.

everything is a shadow of its essence

a lie is a thing of the heart..

God knows

i made this thread

because we as Christian gladly allow liars but exclude homosexuals...

through love and kindness as well as fellowship they might have a change of heart....
