I was going to respond when you first posted, but I was in a hurry.... and then forgot about it. :gah
I am not a naturally funny person, but I do think that humor is a wonderful creation of God. I love people who have a great sense of humor. I love being around them. I think that it's good to laugh, but I get uncomfortable when it edges on mocking God, and many people, even believers, can take things too far. I also don't care for base humor. Anyway, I want to be myself, and be lighthearted when it's appropriate, but I am not really looking to try and win others with something in me or some extra special effort. I am conforming to Christ. The fact that He lives in me, and that I am trying to walk in His truth, will do it if anything will. Anyway, the article is a good reminder that we need to be loving and friendly with people, and let our personalities, and humor, shine through, but I do think we need to remember that God does the work in others.
