There's alot about the Levites that has been taken out and obscured by the bible writers and preachers that must be revealed to truly understand the scriptures. One of these truths is that the Levites were not numbered with Israel. This truth proves Revelation's account of the 144,000 sealed as the 12 tribes of Israel to be false, and that the 144,000 saints were indeed the Levites.
The tribe of Levi was never numbered with Israel because Christ was their inheritance the reason for the half tribes of Manassah and Ephraim:
Based on 1 Chr 25:1, David in his 70th and last year numbers the Levites just before Solomon builds the temple. This was the Levites transition from the the tabernacle to the temple"
According to 1 Chr 24-28, the sons of Levi were divided into 5 offices of 24 divisions each. The divisions where the sons of Aaron, the heads of the Levites, the singers, the porters, and the officers and Judges.
The figures and scripture proves that the grandsons of Aaron were sealed, and would have to had been sealed during the forming of the tabernacle in the wilderness. If the grandsons of Aaron were sealed in their offices during the Exodus, then the other offices had to of been sealed also, including Moses' grandsons.
The divisions David sealed were the 12 sons of each of these 24 divisions of 5, whom each had 4 sons. This was the order and customs of the Levites during the history of the temple, including the rekindling, and the rebuilding of the 2nd temple, post Babylon.
The crowning of Joshua the son of Josedech the high priest is another story, but the rebuilding coincided with the 500th yr of temple service. A 25 generation span, that if you do the math, numbers 144,000 singers and players of instruments, sealed during that period of time.
Twenty four divisions of 5 departments equals 120 offices, times 12 sons each, equals 1440, times the 4 grandsons each of these 1440 offices, equals 5,760 offices, over a span of 25 generations serving from the age of 30 to 50, equals 144,000. Five thousand seven hundred and sixty offices times 25, equals 144,000!
The 5 offices, of the 24 divisions of the Levites, had to of been sealed at the raising of the tabernacle, 2 yrs after leaving Egypt, when the tabernacle was raised in the wilderness!
All this has been hidden to hide the truth about the 144,000 singers and players of instruments in Revelation, and the signifance of Joshua being crowned King and High Priest in Israel post Babylon!
These are the 144,000 sealed in Revelatin:
Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Rev 7:7 Of the tribe of Simeon [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar [were] sealed twelve thousand.
The tribe of Levi was never numbered with Israel because Christ was their inheritance the reason for the half tribes of Manassah and Ephraim:
Num 1:47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
Num 1:48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
Num 1:49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
Num 1:50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that [belong] to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
Twenty three thousand Levites, Caleb the son of Jephunneh, Joshua the son of Nun, and Moses were the only surviving seed of Abraham that came out of Egypt and remained at this point in the Exodus! The Levites were not numbered with the Israelites, they did not die out during the 42 yrs in the wilderness! Twenty three thousand Levites, including Moses', and Aaron's sons survive the wilderness!Num 26:62 And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
Num 26:63 These [are] they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho.
Num 26:64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
Num 26:65 For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
Num 18:20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I [am] thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
Num 18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, [even] the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 18:22 Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.
Num 18:23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: [it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
Num 18:24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer [as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance

These Levites were separated in courses. These are the singers and playeres of instuments in Revelation, the 144,000 virgins, clothed in white linen that follows the Lamb where ever he goes.1Ch 25:1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

1Ch 25:7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, [even] all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

1Ch 9:33 And these [are] the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, [who remaining] in the chambers [were] free: for they were employed in [that] work day and night.
1Ch 15:16 And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren [to be] the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
1Ch 15:27 And David [was] clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also [had] upon him an ephod of linen.
2Ch 5:12 Also the Levites [which were] the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, [being] arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets![]()
2Ch 5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house of the LORD;
2Ch 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy [endureth] for ever
Ezr 7:7 And there went up [some] of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
These are the 144,000 sealed in Revelatin:
Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
The stone the builders refused!Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] thy ways, thou King of saints.
