I noticed a topic about the Matthew Henry Study Bible so I thought I'ld start a thread concerning the Life Application Study Bible, I like to call it the LAB!
So, how many of you use the LAB? It comes in many different flavours, KJV, NIV etc... I happen to be a NIV fan myself, but the LAB study notes are the same in each version. If you haven't looked at it, take a glance at it when you get a chance. It not only gives you life applications, but it is also a commentary to help you understand the history of the subject which you are reading which helps you to apply the scripture to everyday life applications. I love it! I now have it on my pocket PC!
In case anyone is interested, Laridian Electronic Publishing has the best Bible Study Software around for the Pocket PC (or Palm)! The two men responsible for writing the software are the original programmers for Quick Verse originally owned by Parsons. If you have a pocket PC or are thinking about purchasing one (or if you have a palm device) you will want to check out the PocketBible for the PC (or MyBible for the Palm).
